FORMAL BUSINESS PORTRAITS
​
The traditional business headshot is best for professionals in:

• Accounting
• Consulting
• Engineering

• Mardi Gras Court
• Medical, Law, Graduate School Applications, Residency (ERAS)

BACKDROP
Medium or dark gray; solid or light brushed strokes; office background or view depicting type of business


WHAT TO WEAR

• Suit, blazer, uniform, physician jacket, sweater over blouse.
• Choose the highest level of dress that you wear most days to the office, court, hospital, meetings, etc.

INFORMAL HEADSHOT
A more relaxed headshot is great for those in these fields: 

• Artists
• Authors
• Broadcasters
• Counselors

• Fitness Trainers
• Hospitality & Tourism Directors

BACKDROP
Usually these shots are taken on site with the business scene in the background.  I use a short depth of field in order to make you super sharp in the photo, with the background blurred.  If your company chooses to do backdrops, we will decide on a shade to make everyone's photos similar.

If you prefer the studio, I have a few different backdrops from which to choose.  We can also "drop in" a photo for your backdrop. 

WHAT TO WEAR
Women

• Solid colors look best, or very small print, although solid generally looks best.
• Avoid sleeveless, generally.
• Avoid white.
• Black is acceptable but can look drab when placed next to others who have on color. 
• Jacket or sweater is optional.

Men

• Dress shirt with a collar, golf shirt or company shirt.
• Solid colors are best or small plaid. Avoid white.  
• Jacket and/or tie is optional. We can photograph you with and without a tie, if you want a comparison.

THE "NO BACKGROUND" BUSINESS PORTRAIT
WHITE or TRANSPARENT
​​This is a very versatile image as it will match almost any website. The clean and crisp feeling is perfect for all fields, but particularly for these: 

• Information Technology Professionals
• Bloggers
• Health Professionals
• Marketers
• Media & Newscasters
• Scientists
• Web Developers​

Women
